Our Mission    

Our Sunday nursery is managed by a Hall Supervisor and staffed by Nursery Teachers along with Teen helpers. Our goal in the KidZone nursery is to make little ones feel comfortable , loved, secure and happy.  In a safe and healthy environment, the Nursery Teachers begin to tell them about Jesus and of His love for them through simple Bible stories, songs, prayers. These lessons are lived out by the Nursery Teacher's loving and caring attitude as they talk, play, hug, and rock each child!

During the Sunday Evening service, our nursery is open to babies and children up to 5 years of age.

Our Nursery is supervised by a Nursery Coordinator and staffed by Truro Nursery Staff Personnel.  Youth 14 or older who have demonstrated a sincere desire and competency in working with little ones are permitted to assist in the nursery upon approval of the Nursery Coordinator.

The nursery is divided into two sections. The Younger Nursery is for babies up to 20 months. The Older Toddler Nursery is for children 21-3 years. The ages that are in either section (room) may depend on the number, ages, and personalities of the nursery population at any one time. The Nursery Coordinator will be happy to direct you to the most appropriate nursery room for your child and will guide you in making the transition from one nursery room to the next.

Parents will be given a beeper when they drop off their children so that they may be contacted if their child needs them for any reason.
